Sequaderma

SEQuaderma – for rosacea and redness prone skin

This product uses the patent-pending technology of Sequessomes to penetrate the skin layers and to act as nano-stents to encourage the body’s natural flushing and cleansing of these tissues, reducing redness.

SEQuaderma – for acne prone skin

The SEQuaderma acne product is very efficacious at removing excess sebum from the surface of the skin. This starves the skin bacteria that would ordinarily consume the sebum and multiply causing red spots. Fewer bacteria means fewer white blood cells on the attack and fewer pustules.

SEQuaderma – for ageing, thinning skin

This product contains ascorbic acid (vitamin C) and two key peptides, which together can provide the vital stimulation that ageing or damaged collagen-producing cells require. This same combination of ingredients is present in other anti-ageing preparations, but they do not benefit from the deep penetration that Sequessomes and Tethersomes afford, which gets the compounds to where they can work best.

In an 8 week placebo-controlled trial against the leading owned beauty brand advanced anti-ageing serum, Sequaderma demonstrated equivalent reduction in both the actual physical volume and also the appearance of wrinkles.

Comparison of reduction in wrinkle volume (as a percentage of Week 0 baseline volume) for three treatments

SEQuaderma – for dry, itchy skin (symptoms of eczema)

With this preparation, the moisture retaining properties of Sequessomes help to form a barrier to further water loss. Ascorbic acid and peptides are also delivered deep into the skin to start to replace damaged collagen.

SEQuaderma – for red, scaly skin (symptoms of sebaceous dermatitis).

In this condition, excessive sebum can be colonised by yeasts, irritating the skin further and giving the appearance of scales on the skin surface. The sebum clearing power seen in the anti-acne product is used again here to reduce the nutrients used by the yeasts, while the addition of zinc, commonly used to manage fungal infections, is a helping hand to reduce colonies that are already present.
